L92 Water Pump Question (need parts guy help)
From what I've been reading, you need to run the L92 crank pully to keep VVT but the L92 water pump will not clear the DBW throttle body on the car intake manifold. Specifically, the tube comming out of the top of the water pump hits the throttle body.
To fix this, you need to use a spacer kit such as from Mast Motorsports ($200 for the spacer kit alone) along with a car style pump with the forward facing tube. Here is a recent post as an example of this setup:

but... I got to poking through the GM Performance Parts Catalog
http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/Parts/catalog.jsp
and on pg 219 it has a picture and a part number (12600767) for a L92 Water pump. The picture has the tube on the water pump facing the front of the vehicle, like the car style water pumps. So my question to the GM parts guys is the info correct? ...Does this water pump offer both the correct pully spacing for the L92 motor and have a front facing tube?
In the attached photo, you can see the normal L92 water pump with its upward pointing tube.

Good find Dan!! I looked it up on GMPD, but it didn't provide any info other than the fact that it's a water pump & they're wanting $156 before shipping (which means it'll be $250 with shipping)...
I'll definitely be watching this thread...

Alocker, now I see what you did, lol. I didn't even see the spacer/adapter on there. Very clever. I've got hood clearance issues though so that wont work for me.

I wonder if I can just flip it?
