I just put my 2000 ls1 gauge cluster in the dash of my 89 ford mustang. My question is do i need the plug from a 2000 car that plugs into the back of the cluster or can i use any year { are all gauge clusters the same ]

My cars almost done and need to find teh plug. I just need the oil, water and rpm gauge to work on the cluster

I was going to use a gauge cluster from a corvette in my car conversion but to do so i would need the complete body control module and the wire harness which connects it to the gauge cluster.

So i changed and went diffrent direction after check pricing on these parts.
