1966 Caprice (think Impala) 6.0 Swap Ok, so I've been lookn around this thread, and I can't find much on this type of swap. Lots on X-frames, and newer Impalas and Caprices so I am missing something. I really want to swap a 6.0 and probally a 200r4 or 4L65E into my Caprice. I currently has 396 and TH400. 12 bolt posi.
Im thinking of just puttn a carb on the 6.0 for now, then work into fuel injection later. I have a 04 Silverado with 5.3 and I love it!
I can only imagine the wonderful fun Id have with a 6.0 in a car the weights almost 1k less!
Can anyone direct me to the right thread, where I can find all the stuff I going to need for the conversion? Im sure this has been asked b4 and I am grateful for your patience in adavnce!
