Default ls2 back firing question

Ive been running my 05 ls2 m6 for 5 months now. its a all stock engine, had wait4me tune my pcm. running wise its fine.

but my question is: when driving and in any gear if i dont have my foot on the petal after 10 sec or so the engine pops through the exhaust loudly. i cant ride a gear down to slow down at all with out this happening.

Im running 2-1/2 exhaust and its all new with no leaks.
Also im not showing any codes w/light or with my scanner
new plugs wires, before and after no difference with the back fires

Any suggestion why its poping like it is? thanks

Popping through the exhaust usually means air is leaking into the exhaust.

Try retorquing all the bolts.
