Default Preparing to order my radiator, anything special I need to account for?

Pretty sure I'm gonna order a custom PRC aluminum radiator for the '36. Other than the obvious hose inlet/outlet locations is there anything particular to the LS motors that I shoud account for?

If I was having a radiator done from scratch I would have them add a 1/4" bung just below the main inlet for the steam relief connection. If possible I would also do a double pass cross flow radiator with both the inlet on and the outlet on the passenger side since that is where the connections are on the motor. That may no be possible on your narrow car.

Ken (kwhizz), Do you have your radiator hoses connected yet? If so, any pics from that side?

Guys, what is the steam relief connection? Here is a pic of my LQ4. Does it have the steam relief? Sorry to be so vague, this is still a little new to me.

Front of the drivers side head. All 4 points (2 on each head) are connected with tubing (under the intake) to release air pockets from trhe upper head water jackets.

This needs to be tied into the pressure side of the system

Nice radiator!!!! That should do the job well. There is no such thing as "too much" radiator.

We ran mine through Needles, CA last month in 120 degree heat with the air conditioning on.....the LS1 never went above 195 degrees!!
