For a Holley carb, use this one.... There are other brackets you'll need depending on which style cable you go with.

Here is a link to a good article that you need to read. It will explain a lot about the throttle valve cable on a 200-4R and 700R4.

Before anyone can help you, you need to give specific info. What carb? What manifold? What TV cable? And you really need to buy a pressure gauge setup and check your trans pressures while adjusting the cable.

I'm going with a holley 750 mexhanical secondary, GMPP intake, I don't know what tv cable to choose of how to set it up from the trans to the carb. Thanks S10 any part numbers would be extremely helpful.... Also when I adjust the tv cable what readings should I see for the pressure

You MUST use this bracket on the carb's throttle linkage, regardless which cable you end up with. If you elect to use a "stock type" kickdown cable, use this bracket. If you go with the Lokar setup, you'll want KD-2200RHT cable, and the SRK-4000 bracket to locate it. Be sure to enlarge the pic on the right side of that page!

The pressure gauge (300# gauge, 4 ft of #4 hose with a #4AN swivel end) installs to the DR side port about 6" above the shifter quadrant. I (permanently) installed a 45° 1/8" NPT x -4AN fitting with a -4AN cap when not in use. Pressure checking info can be found here.

Dude, go to any of the pump mfg's, they have all the info you need to get started. Try Barry Grant, Holley, Aeromotive, etc. and they'll all have downloadable diagrams and schematics.

If you go Lokar, you'll need the Holley '121 bracket for the carb, the Lokar TV cable, Lokar throttle cable, and the Lokar mounting bracket (both cables fit into the bracket).

They're both universal and need to be cut to fit...
