Default my LSx 1968 VW beetle...VIDEOS.

Does your old bug have a V8 in the rear where a boxermotor normally resides? Does your old bug have 4 wheel drive, hydroboost disc brakes, power steering, 35" super swamper tires, and an automatic transmission?

no...I didnt think so...

Ill post pics and details of the build in a minute...but here are some teaser videos. Its a 4.8 with drive by wire, 03+ 1 meg PCM, TH400. It used to have a 4.3 TBI, but that didnt have a lot of power, and the 15 foot long cable throttle SUCKED. So I put a Gen III V8 in it.

its more for rock crawling and offroad trail cruising...im not so much a fan of the hard core mud bogging. I might give it a try once or twice though.

That's awesome - I showed my wife, who told me that I needed to get one of those as my winter driver...
