Dunno, but I'd like to see somebody run one with a narrow LSA like that (or even tighter) and post a dyno.

Thought about runnin 108 and installing it straight up. That'd give approx 15 degrees of overlap, 1 degree shy of the thumpr cams and a lot more lift, shorter duration, etc. Only thing I'm worried about is running into PTV clearance with 61cc heads on an LQ4... I'd like to advance it a bit to drop the powerband down a few hundred RPM's, but I don't really want to have to flycut my pistons...

The ***** thumpr cam is 227/241 .563/.546 on 109lsa + 6 and on a stock LS2, there is absolutely no PTV clearance issues at all. Guy said he saw the clay was so thick he didn't even measure it.

I hated my mighty deomn. it had idle issues. i had the carbshop look it over. changed the base plate did all sorts of things to it. put an out of the box holley on it with 70'/80s and took some timing out of my engine. runs like a dream.

also helps i used my FAST wideband as well.

back to cams...

Im running a TSP magic stick 3 and its awesome.

750 Quick Fuel here, mech. secondaries. I have several friends that use them, and my buddy uses them for just about anything on his dyno. They are maybe a little more expensive, but I'm sure happy with mine.

Well, my almost 16:1 compression 400+" was going to get a 105lobe and after talking to Kurt Urban, Comp and several other well known LS engine builders, they said don't do it. They all recommended 110 and larger lobes...

And this is in a full blown drag car with a Jerico 4 speed and a carb. Still don't understand exactly why, but I can tell you my cam is larger than 110.

Kinda bums me out, because I really wanted to run a 105 grind and install it around 102-103.

I still may do it, just to try it out and change the cams on the dyno.
