Hooker LS1 swap headers should fit...or the stock manifolds. I have new LS2 Corvette Crate Manifolds I didn't use on my fbody swap. If you're interested let me know.

Hey man, I really appreciate the reply, I really wish I could take them off your hands. . I think I would run into the same problem I have been having with my 68 impala. The steering gearbox sits 4-6 inches outside of the 2 & 3 exhaust port on the drivers side. Real tight fit. Thanks for the comment!

i'm guessing you already determined that the truck manifolds will absolutely not fit? i bet they'd flow as well as shorties, and they stay up by the head until back at cylinders 7 and 8, then drop down. i have a set i could take pics of if you didn't get them with your engine.

Did you design your own headers?

I'm working on my 66 Biscayne right now. I just got a V8 trailblazer driver's side manifold in the mail yesterday, it looks like its going to clear the steering box, barely. My issue with it is that the flange is hitting the "Wing" of the 4l80 trans, I think I'm going to have to grind it down roughly 1/4 of an inch. I'm about to go out to work on it, I'll update later. These should definitely work (and would be flawless with a 4l60e).

Its part number 12600526. Unfortunately, GM has them on back order for a indefinite amount of time (tried ordering new from 3 different places), so you'd have to find used ones. I got one on ebay, for $70- the new ones would have been $50. Damnit, GM.
