Default 87 vette, ls1/t56 master cylinder ?

Seems the 87 vette where the original master cylinder goes is on the flat part of the firewall. The master cylinder I got is from a fbody so it mounts at an angle. Is there a direct replacement for a ls1 t56 master cyl that mounts flat to the firewall?? I can always make a angled spacer I guess but hoping there is a simple option from another compatible car?? I have to drill as my 87 was an auto to begin with.

Thanks.

Well, I'm not sure if there's a "simple option" for that or not (on my projects there usually isn't!), but I thought I'd mention this -

On another project I worked on, I needed to get angled spacers to make something fit. The only place I could find them at was McMaster-Carr. I don't know if they'll have exactly what you're looking for, but if you don't find it there, you probably won't find it at all...

Good luck.

its a simple fix. im using stock f body master on rx7. i cut off the angled mounting flange and made two u shaped brackets that hold on to the master, the master has a groove that the two u shaped brackets fit perfect
