Vin numbers and the engine Im looking through a local scrap yard and they have engines broken up by vin number. Vin N, Vin U and then just a regular one. all for a 04 1500 6.0. Is there any type I should avoid? Is one going to be better than the other?

Engine Code I found my VIN chart for 2002 If you want the exact then go to the dealer. 2002 Truck vin N is 6.0 LQ9 The U is a LQ4 .I beleve in 2003 They came out with the SS truck so that engine probably had another code.
