What coolant expansion tank worked for you?

What coolant expansion tank worked for you? The radiator ended up being a little lower than the LS1 engine in my Avanti. I'm getting ready to build or purchase an expansion tank (not an overflow reservoir) to make the fill point higher than the engine, and to get rid of air pockets.
What did you fellows purchase or do that ran into a similar problem?
Other than connected to the engine output radiator hose, what else (additional engine coolant lines) should be ported to this tank? I want to make sure I've got enough ports on it, and have them the correct sizes.
