Default help with starter on ls1 mustang

for those of you that used the camaro harness in the mustang i have ? about the starter

can i run a cable from the battery straight to the starter and use the factory mustang trigger wire on the ls1 starter?
wouldnt that be the simplest thing to do

there is a piece of the harness missing from the ls1 harness that plugs into the purple starter wire and goes to the starter if i cant use the mustang trigger wire and a straight battery cable can someone send me pics of what the starter looks like all wired up
thanks

The purple wire that energizes the starter solenoid comes from the car, not the swap harness

Battery to the large lug and the solenoid wire to the small is all the LS starter requires

For my foxbody swap I ran the power supply cable off of my foxbody starter solenoid on the driverside strut tower and then used a smaller wire to "jump" from the supply line to the LS starter solenoid. Worked fine. Basically any time the fox solenoid clicks it will send power to the starter and then of course the LS starter's solenoid at the same time. This is the simplest since the fox has the solenoid separate from the starter.

PM if you need more info or don't understand what I'm explaining. Worked out great and without issue for mine and one other I know of.
