Second that!!!!
GM Hot Rod Pan is the way to go. Cant beat the price for what you get. One thing to note on other aftemarket pans. It is my experience that with fabricated aluminum pans, while most are jig welded to keep them in the proper alignment, once released from their jigs, they tend to 'walk'. This happens because the aluminum has been stress relieved by the welding process. To correct the walking, the pan should be skim cut along the rails. I am not sure how many aftermarket companies follow that procedure. With a die cast pan, like GM's hot rod pan, there is no 'walk' as the pan is cast. Just my two cents. If someone has more information on this, would love to hear it.

I bought a Moroso oil pan for my GMPP Gen VI 454HO and it leaked from the front left and rear right corners. I used the steel core rubber GM gasket with RTV in the corners. I called the "tech" line and they blamed me for improper install. If you can't use a GM gasket and make it seal then the pan is junk...it was I returned it. It was a fabricated steel pan. Good call.
