Default Corvette Fuel Filter/Regulator with Speed Inc Rails?

Ok Guys I am about to go Nutz!!!!

Need Help Asap Please!

I have a 1998 Mustang GT.

I have a 255 intank pump.
For My Fuel I am using a 1997 Corvette Fuel Filter/ Regulator
all the way to the Speed Inc. High Flow 3/8 Rails. For Feed Im using -6 and a 5/16 for the Return.

I have spark, Fuel, and ( Air DUH!)

But my car wont turn on. It did a couple of months back. (6-8) months ago.
But the car always had a hard time starting.

So do I need to remove the corvette filter/regulator and get an Areomotive '
Regulator by the Rails?

Or will the set up work?

My VATS has been removed by Mike at G-Force

<Maybe the Problems>
Bad Gas?
Or stuck Injectors?

Please Help.

My Friend DopeFedZ helped but had no luck?

I assume it's turning over? Will it just crank and not catch at all? Catch slightly/stumble? Do you have a pressure gauge installed anywhere on the hi-pressure line to see if the rails are getting enough/any pressure?

If with too little pressure, or even if some of the injectors became clogged, if any small amount of gas is getting injected I would think the engine would try to catch at least a little bit. What did you do to test for spark?

If the car had a hard time starting a while ago and won't now, I'd try cleaning the injectors, and making sure that the spark plug & wire terminals aren't corroded and ugly.

Yeah I think the Ford Body is not used to so Much Power!!!!! LOl

Yes the Motor is Turning over.
I do have a Guage at the end of the Rails. 57lbs
To test the Spark We basically took off the spark plug while Attached to the Coil.
Had my Friend Carlos (Dopefedz) turn the Motor over, while I held the spark
plug agains the inter fender (by the strut)

I have new TR55s gaped to 45
Wires, could use some new ones?
How would you clean the injectors?

My cousin is going to bring his stock 28.8s over to see if that helps.

or should I just put the Stock rails back on and see if that will help?
Should I dump out the Gas and put new gas with sometype of Octain Booster?

Sounds like your fuel pressure is fine. Is your ecu tuned for your injectors or are you running different ones?

they are tuned for the stock 2001 injectors. 28.8 (what ever the OEM came with for that year)

Ok Thanks Guys I'll take them out and get them cleaned.
Might seem like a dumb question. But like they once said. The dumbest question is the
one that was never said!

So here it goes. Where do I get SeaFoam to clean the Injectors?

WHen My dad sprayed starter fluid at the MAF the car turns on, then turns off I guess till it burns out. I crack it over and nothing happens. But once my dad sprays some of that stuff it just comes on Alive

But I'll keep you Posted Guys Thanks alot Gear Heads!

Ya it's your injectors. Use a compressor and blow out the injectors, or let them sit in the seafoam. Should do the trick.

Any decent auto parts store should have it, Advanced Auto, AutoZone, NAPA, etc.

Ok Gear Heads. I swapped out my injectors with the 28.8 (stock 01 ) and mine were
really dirty! THe car did have a hard time starting but it did start with the help of Starter spray.

WHen the car started I noticed that my gauge was past 60lbs! Is that normal? I think not? Bad Vette Regulator? Dont know.

When the car rans for about 2 min.
I can turn the car off and on with No problem!

But if I try to start the car about 4 hrs later it wont.

Im guessing I have a very dirty Fuel tank. Dont know.

I took a vid of the Car and will post it up later on Today or tomarrow.
Just need my friend dopefedz to show me how. Lol.

Thanks guys.
