Default Need Help with Autometer Tach

Hey guys,
I finallly got my 5.3L fired up in my Jeep last night and it sounds and runs great. I did notice that my tach is not working though.
The connection are fine and Im getting 12V ignition and a good ground.
Hot Wire Auto in Mena made my harness for me and it has the wire for the tach and thats what I used.

Am I doing something wrong here? Do I need to add some resistor?

Any help will be much appreciated...

First try setting the tach to 4 cyl setting. If that doesn't work then set to 8 cyl and add a 1.5Kohm pull-up from the tach wire to +12V.
