Default Another LS notch build

I just purchased a fox body from a friend of mine and it already has a stock 4.6 k member from a 97 cobra in it. I was hoping to get away with just modifying a set of 4.6 modular motor mounts and using them with the stock 4.6 k member. I was also going to modify a set of 351 swap headers by just welding ls1 flanges onto them. I know I can buy the aje k member with the ls1 motor mounts but I would like to save some money and try to fab up some of my own parts.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

From what I've seen posted here, it does work. The only little problem is that the engine is moved forward or back, I can't remember. This may cause interference with headers, specially with Kooks that seems to be a hit or miss.

ok sounds good...I plan on fabbing up my own headers, so hopefully I can make those 351 1 3/4" swap headers work.
