Default need help with my fuel system.

Here is what I have. I am going to run my stock tank that was just replaced. I have the vette filte/regulator. I am not sure on fuel pump I am looking at the walbro 392 or the bosch 044. My question is what lines should I run. I was thinking of running s/s lines or aluminum. I have been looking at the russell twist lok, prorace hose or the proclassic.

I like the look of the s/s and aluminum lines, but I like the ease of use of the other especially since I have no bending skills or flaring tools. Any downfall on going with the rubber lines?

Any feedback would be great as I know their have been several post on these but I think it comes down to cost and preference. Cost is not a factor since I can buy direct from russell.

Thank you.

Its a wix # 33737(99-02 vette filter). I actually have 2 of them.I will see were I left the other one and send you a pm. After doing some research I found out the fuel lines above have issues. At this point I will run s/s hard lines on most of the system and then run some ptfe flex line were needed.

I will say a big help is to read the sticky's. You can ask ?? as well but most of the info need has already been posted and reposted. Where are you located? and what are you building

I would recommend for any street car.. going to as must hard line as possible.. I have full 3/8" SS hard lines in my A-Body. but mine was put in while the body was off of the frame. that helps a lot !

3/8" should get up of to 450-475+ ok... then I would go 1/2" just to be overkill at that point. Also with the hard lines to AN.. you can use compression fitting to AN, but my suggestion is to braze a AN fitting on the end of the hard line. It is safer and more secure.

may be a moot point.. but NHRA as a limit on how much rubber line you can run.. just a though.

i will have to check them out! thanks. i am brand new to the site and i am still trying to figure out how to navigate it, so im sure i will ask abunch of questions that are allready posted many different places. i am located in tyler, texas, and i am building a 1973 camaro. just purchased a LQ9 and a t-56. bought motor from a friend, 598 lift cam, 243 heads (decent port and polish job) ls2 intake and FAST 90mm t.b. I just finished tubbing the car, im running 20x13's in rear with 4 link and 9" all nodular iron 3rd member (3.89 ratio) and 31 spline axles. Up front, a martz front subframe with coilovers and rack and pinion and 20x 10.5's. 13" cross drilled and slotted rotors, with 6p calipers, 12" rotors with 4p calipers rear. etc etc.. car is rolling chassis right now, just waiting on motor and trans. once i figure out how to post pics i will have to put some on here!
