Default DBW / TAC wiring questons

Hey guys,

I'm converting my 04 5.3 harness to a standalone and had a question.

I had some extra wires that goes into the plug that attaches to the tac module. These were orginally in the C100 connector so they wouldn't went anywhere anyways.

It was a Dk Blue, LT Blue, Gray, and Gray w/blk stripe.

Is it safe to remove them out of the tac module connector w/o hurting anything or affecting operation of the throttle body?

Without looking them up, I'd say they were the wires to the cruise control switch, so eliminatring them should be no issue

Thanks, shortly after this post I was doing some heavy googling and found out that they were cruise wires...Thanks again

Hey while I got you here, do you know if the P/N plugs for the park neutral switch on the 4L60e tranny were a stand alone harness?

I need to figure this part out and can't find the plugs to go into my switch.....I'm curious if I need this anyways since my car already has a stock P/N switch in the console.

I didn't know if the transmission mounted switch controlled any PCM functions.

I don't know how the switch works within the PCM but mine had 2 plugs. The first all the wires went to the PCM, the others' wires went to the dash. I eliminated the plug going to the dash and kept the one going to the PCM. When I had it unplugged I also had the brake / TCC switch unplugged by accident and the car drove weird. I fixed the wiring / switch for the brake / TCC input and plugged in that harness at the same time which fixed my problem so I don't know if you really NEED it or not.

Does your switch have one plug or 2 of them?

I stole this from the other thread you're in

Is there anything I need to connect to my inside P/N switch for the PCM to operate correctly?
That's an argumentive question, so guys say no, but I always install the wiring that goes to the PCM, so it knows what gear the selector is in
