Default Ls1/4l60e in mustang

Ok so I have decided to go this route with my build and have a few questions
what would I need as far as wiring harness goes I'm wanting to stay fuel injected. I have a set of bbk longtubes for a 302 I have heRd of people cutting the flanges of and welding on ls flange. Can I use stock harness or do I need aftermarket? I'm new to ls stuff always been a ford guy but makin the change.
Any info is greatly appreciated

If you can understand wire diagrams, re-work the gm harness. It is pretty much stand-alone. Ditch the ford engine harness. it it seperate of the chassis harness. I used flipped stock truck manifolds on mine, but thats for turbos. mines a '95 btw

I have seen people use the 351 header by cutting the flanges. There is some work in it though....I bought the kooks ls1 swap headers. They work great with the aje kmember
