UPDATE*
purchased a T-56 with 37K on it, a 5.3 truck motor, 67mm turbo, stand-alone wiring harness, LS6 intake, LH8 oil pan conversion kit and an intercooler today.
Going to start the teardown in a week or so. I am going to use the BRP LSX install kit with the T56 crossmember for my install. i will be sure to post pics once I get everything cleaned up.

nnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooo...
Actually this looks pretty cool, but don't you know turbo's and automatic transmissions go together better than cocain and waffles?
I took a spare 2004r from my GN and have it in my rx7, which is about to get an LM7 with the 317 heads...
Are you starting with a real GN? I only ask cause I think a regular regal would make a great GN clone with this setup!

OK! sorry for all the late responses in this thread, a swap like this is eating up a ton of my time and its a pain to post pictures lol.
I have aqquired almost everything for the swap: Motor, transmission, wiring harness, ECU, and a whole ton of other crap lol
Here are some pictures of everything so far, I cant really do anything else until the stock motor and tranny is pulled, hopefully that will be saturday

MOTOR IS OUT!!
Started work at about 10ish this morning> started the car up for the last time, revved the hell out of it a few times and backed it half in, half out of the garage, and yanked the ECM out. No going back now. The next few pictures are my progress throughout the day. HOLY **** this motor was a pain in the *** to pull. Also a little pissed off because i ruined my 6 month old water temp gauge which was $75 and also found out I have to go to vacuum brakes becuase the current setup works with the ECM
AAAAANNNNDDDDD................
ITS OUT!
That's all for today, Pulling Stevens motor fro the camaro tomorrow. Also got this in the mail today: My standalone harness

I did the conversion back in 1999 with 4L60E. I didn't do it on a real GN but it was a Regal with GN body/interior parts. I got the motor mounts and modified oil pan from John Bzdel in Washington state. He originally did a LS1/T56 but later changed it to LS7 and fabbed his own headers. Here is his website:
