Can I use this ecm?
I'm confused I read lt1tech.com about swaps and he give part numbers for express van ecms that will work with cable tb's. but i looked up the numbers and they show silverados. Now I have an ecm the number on it is 89017750 with blue green connector. I'm trying to figure out if I can use this ecm with a cable driven lq4 from a 04 van. Can anybody help me i don't wanna buy another ecm if I can use this one. Oh most likely i'm going speed density, and obviously cable driven throttle body.

Ok now would I be able to flash an express van tune into that silverado ecm and get the ablilty to run my dbc setup or is the computer totally different than the van ones? It's blank anyways.

I have read these PCM's with cable throttle from factory.
SERV# APPLICATION
12586242 04 GTO LS1, 04 Express Van
12586243 04 GTO LS1
12589462 05 Expres Van 6.0
12589463 05 Express Van 6.0
12589463 05 Express Van 4.8
These SAME SERV# PCM's ARE used in regular truck applications that had DBW. Flashing in an express van calibration will allow you to run cable throttle. The programmer needs to take into account that express vans used different mass airflow sensors, and also has to make sure the calibration used matches the transmission you have.
I have seen SOME 12589463 from 2006 vehicles. Most of the 2006/2007 have been 12602801 and 12602802.

ok sweet if my part number is that serv number than i can use my pcm woohoo, and just program a express van tune. I'm planning on runnin a speed density tune with a 4l65e trans anyways. So not worried bout the maf sensor. Thanks. Now just have to try and find a dbc harness that will fit into my ecm. I've read about using a blue/green harness into a red/blue pcm but now have to look and see about if I can use a red/blue harness in a blue/green pcm.
