Default Wiring troubles

Ok i need to know exactly whats needed for this thing to run properly. The only wires i need going inside the cab are the guages and to the key correct? Looks like this thing had 100 wires running into the fire wall from the chevy ss it was on. What do i need for the engine to run properly, and what can i get rid of? Im going to leave the F150 Chassis harness in place to do things like turn the fuel pump on and my lights, and crap like that. I just need the engine and transmission running properly with only the needed gauges like oil pressure, tach, speedometer, voltage, water temp and such.

I have the wiring harness that seems to be 100 percent intact, except where i have a huge rubber grommet that im guessing went into the firewall, all the wires there are cutoff, and i dont think in eed 95 percent of them.

I also need a wiring diagram
