Question Whats the skinny on the LQ4 engine? Going in a 94 LT1 Camaro

Ok so im going to start putting together all my parts for a LSx swap on my 94 LT1, What is going to be needed to put swap in a LQ4 6.0L engine? Is it a better engine than the LS1? I dont care about the extra weight im more concerned about reliability as I drive 150+ miles a day in my car Should I keep it stock displacement or what CI. is reliable for a DD? Or should I stick to a LS1 swap? OR should I just build the LT1? im looking for 500RWHP on a DD that will last.

If I were to keep the LT1 I was going to do the EFI connections LS1 PCM conversion, LE2 H/C, and probably a blower. What are your recomendations?

Default

doesnt matter what you do, but lt1s suck,
you can make 500 (450 wheel) with ls1 or lq4 and it will DD, throw some spray on it and make 600, STOCK BOTTOM END, get a good tune and do some more research.
