Default L33 to 4l60E

Hey guys,

I'm trying to get a little clarification here. I'm trying to figure out what I need to bolt my 2006 5.3 liter L33 to my 1996 4l60E trans. My engine is up in my dad's shop so I can't take a look at the flywheel to see what i have. From what I read, all 5.3 liter engines came with the curved flywheel correct?

So if it came with the curved flywheel. Both the GM Spacer and the Hughes spacer will work. Is that correct? I would thing the Hughes spacer would be easier to use. Any feedback by guys that used it?

Thanks,

If you use the '96 verter you need the spacer with the 5.3L dish flywheel. The spacer mounts after the flywheel and supports the nose of the converter. Then elongate the holes in the flywheel alittle.
