well hopefully this will be easy answer.. i have 07 ly6 factory truck harness.. im not moding it.. only wires i want to cut it the wire tha went to fuse box.. well i asumme i have to,,duh,,,, and make my own fuse box for it.. im keeping vvt.

to me the wires on the left look unimportant,,stuff like ect,alt, stuff not need to make engine run..

wires on right look important..
the only wires i kno is, big purple is to starter,has always been for g.m,,, and black wire is for ecm power.. now i need help for othe 20 somthing wires..
do i need power to all of them?. or just certain few to make my motor ru.. thanks.. i looked at the lt1swap site too.. i will do some more digging around,,

which wire is for the port to plug a computor too for tuning..should be one wire, then i ground it to..?????

Red/White wires go to constant battery power.
Pink wires are 12V switched power

Your wires for the diagnostic port are probably in another connector. Should be in the black connector that I can see on the left side of the first picture.

Ask my brother, mr220v, he knows all about it. He figured out the brunt of my LY6 wiring in a night.

bump... i think i have 4-6 pink wires with black strip..1 looks more red than pink, wit black strip..

think 4 pink with white strip..

6-8 pink wires...

i need more help.. i need to kno what wires go to what.. so i can better understand.. thanks.
