Default 2Nd Gen Spectra EFI Tanks

Heard many people complain about sending unit and starvation on low tank for 1st gen tanks. Are there any known problems on the 2nd gen efi tanks?

Or where to get them. RockAuto.com doesn't list them anymore. Someone recently told me they recently got one from them and suggested I call. When taxes come back, I will.

Default Spectra tank

Put this tank in yesterday. Nice peice. Except clean/rinse it. The inside is full of welding flux.

You can loosely hang it, I then GENTLY used a floor lift jack and some cardboard in between to squeeze it up into the filler pipe.

On wiring, I know black is ground but not sure which wire is power to pump and which is fuel sensor. Purple and grey left over.

I called Rock auto on the fuel starvation issue. They had 25 sales and two issues which they claim were resolved and the issue was faulty pump parts. Interesting is that Spectra was not aware of any issues when I called them.

gray = pump power
