The way I hear, it's the same. I had circle track guys buy extra S-10 spindles I had because he wanted spares for his Monte.

Yeah the steering arm is in the same crappy spot as the g-body spindle. So they won`t help the g-body bumpsteer problem any.....but they won`t make it worse like a B-body spindle does.

Once i'm done with the engine swap, i will start the suspension redo...Hopefully the AFX spindles with the ATS adjustable upper and lower arms etc etc...that should help with most of the caveats the originals have...

I'm still searching for them C5 conversion brackets. I already sent a few PM/emails to Ed Miller (flynebye.com) but I got no answer.

I want to bolt on C5 front calipers with 13" rotors on my stock g-body spindle/knuckle. I already cut/modified them.

Kore3 and Ed Miller would have them as well as the "rotor".

Ill email a guy I got in touch with, he has brackets and hubs for stock stuff I think he wanted 130 shipped for the hubs (modified for use with stock spindle) and brackets, i will double check, brackets for 30 w/o hubs

He is also trying to make me the brackets in this thread...

I already ordered my stuff from Kore3, Tobin is a great guy and was patient in answering about a million questions, I had to order something from them after all that

anyhow, ill post some picts of thier stuff when I get what I ordered... as it applies to this thread...

in lieu of whats going with Flynbye is there another source for the machined down rotor?seems to me like machining down a rotor shouldn't be that difficult.... Hey LSCustoms how did you get the park brake assemblies to work on the LS1 rear brake swap? I am hoping to install my LS1 equipped 8.5 rearens this weekend and am hoping to get some insight..

Thread i started however I sold the stuff, but will finish the thread when I can...
http://gbodyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=34465

I have a setup for sale... that will work with these brackets or with the Kore3 brackets that i like... and also waiting on the guy to finish trying to reproduce these brackets and some for the stock spindles, he hasnt finished them yet, but told me he is close and will be making 6 sets to begin with (cause it was most cost efficient to him)...

Default Year One 17" SS Clone Rim

Has anyone purchased the 17 Inch SS Clone Rim from year One and tested Fitment with S-10 C-5 Brake Set-up?

Would like to get a set as I love the stock look, I just dont like the fact that with the 15" stock rim you essentialy will have the equivalent of Lawn Mower Wheels.

Anyone that can report on These rims with results good or bad would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Det Spd Site: (Even though they don't sell the wheel)

I Scored some 98 Blazer Spindles with hubs and dust shields over the weekend at the bone yard. 89 bucks for the pair.

The wheel sensors were missing from the hubs so I will need to plug that hole but more so hoping the hub bearings are in good shape so I can avoid spending 150 bucks each for new ones.

No way to tell as its a non serviceable assembly.. Seems to spin freely without any grinding or play in them..

What are you guys using for brake hoses and retaining hardware? Is there a Generic part/part number? Or are you guys using the vendors mentioned in this thread for the hoses to the calipers?
