Default Fuel line question: AN compression fittings, any count?

Hey guys, I am putting a 5.3 in my 69 camaro and I am trying to plan out my fuel lines. I have the entire wrecked truck I am getting the engine from. It looks to me that I can reuse the factory hard lines back to a point under my camaro. From there I would like to run a AN line to the pump, filter, and the tank. I am going to use a walbro inline fuel pump. I have read that many people have used a compression fitting to go from the hard line to the AN line. Are these readily available to fit the GM hardline and what luck have you all have with these?

Jeg's has them in common non-metric sizes, I have no idea what the factory line size is...

I just did this on my project. I am a month from finishing up so I can't confirm how they work, but they installed reasonably well. Used Swagelok SS-600-6-6AN which is for a 3/8" tube.

Note that my car is an original 396 car so it came with the larger fuel line. I think most non high performance GM cars used a 5/16 line.

Most GM vehicles use 3/8 for feed and 5/16 return

Compression fittings are rated for low pressure apps only. Some high pressure fittings are available, but they will specify it
