does anyone know how or know if it's possible to use a truck harness with fbody gauges? I have a '01 truck harness that i made stand alone and i would like to use fbody gauges for my mustang project. I'm confused with the class 2 serial data wire since it runs to my obd2 port.

There's something that's just so deliciously WRONG about that statement...

I'll take a crack at it - I would guess (keep in mind I said "guess") that they'd work just fine together, since it's '01-ish. I'm pretty confident that the ALDL signal will be the same, but not 100% sure about the gauge inputs. (I'd be surprised if they were too different though.)

So do I tap into to the obd2 wire some how? my wire diagram shows pin 59 in the blue connector as a serial data to bcm, but the fbody harness pin 59 isn't used.
