Default Temp Sensor

I would like to run the water temp (gauge) sensor and fan temp (on/off) sensor from the same point in the passenger side head. Is this possible or do I need to run one of them to the drivers side head??

I asked this question in another area but I thought you guys may have a little more experience with non-factory items.

Using a 98 3 wire sensor, you combine PCM CTS and gauge sender into one point. Generally, fan control is done by the LSx PCM rather than the older thermo switch

Why not?

To answer your question, no Ive never seen a dual output switch. The gauge sender varies resistance in relation to temperature. The switch is either fully open or fully closed depending on temperature
