Default Alternator Wiring

Hello All

I am using an LS1 year 2002 in a kit car I am building. On the alternator there is just one wire coming from the plug on the top. Is it possible to pick up a feed from this plug on one of the other 3 terminals to run to a charge warning light on the dash or maybe some other way of getting the warning light to work.

Thanks Alan

Thanks, I realised the light was controlled by the PCM, does that mean it's not possible, I was kinda hoping there was a work around.
