MAF reading way too high
I built a FD RX7 with an 02 LS6 from a vette.
I dealt with the start of this problem at the end of last season and parked the car with zero resuslts...
I went to Davenport a corvette shop in town and hooked my car up to the scanner. Maf at idle was something crazy like 60 ish grams/sec not 4-7. I ended up taking apart the connector on the maf and found the voltage wire to be a little rough with shielding peeling off a bit so i repaired that. The others seemed to be ok and the next morning i drove it it was almost back to normal..After a few days of driving it the problem started to creep back. Everywhere i search people are taling about O2s maybe or other stuff for simular problems but i know my maf was reading way to high but scrolling up with throttle correctlly. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks guys
