victor jr intake questions
i have been reading alot about the ls1 style vic jrs and what i'm reading is not good but they are old posts. have they improved on quality since then? would i be better off with gmpp single plane?

If you are talking about them cracking around the edges from what I have read Edlebrock made good on those. I thought they had fixed whatever was wrong and are producing a quality product now.
I have never seen a direct comparison of a Vic Jr and a GMPP single plane. I have heard people say that vic is suppose to be good for a little more high end HP, but like I said I have never seen a heads up dyno comparison. I have a book comparing the dual plane to a GM single plane, but never vic to GM. Maybe someone will post a link.
My crate motor has a GMPP single plane. Nice manifold. Can't really make a mistake buying one of those.

I have a GM single plane for sale cheap if you decide to go that way and I'll throw in a 2" carb spacer that will more than make up the difference if in fact the victor makes a few more ponys up top
