Default Clutch Master Cyl question

I have a 04 GTO clutch master cyl which I'll be using with my T56.
I'm going to use this in a Volvo.
I have the volvo pedal assy.

What I need to know is what the correct stroke of the master cyl pushrod is.
If I make the stroke too short, I won't get clean disengagement, too long, and I can over stroke the slave and pop a seal out.

If you can't give me the actual rod stroke, I'll take the tip of the pedal stroke if you can give me the length of the pedal from tip to pivot, and from pivot to where the rod connects.

thanks

I think the stroke should be no more than 1 inch. Do a search on this forum to double check.

I don't know, but I'd guess it is - same slave.
can you tell from the cyl how long the stroke is?
not just how long the rod is...

just take a permanent marker and put a line on the rod and press it all the way in a few times, and measure the spot wiped clean. i read that the stroke was supposed to be between 7/8 and 15/16 i think. mines an fbody unit and its at about an inch to the internal stop.

Is the max stroke what the stroke should be, or a 1/4" less?
That's the issue.

Can anyone get me a measurement installed in the car?

I didn't think the stroke stopped in the cyl, I thought that the pedal hit the floor first. I wouldn't think that you were bottoming out the piston in the cyl everytime you put your foot on the floor.

Not trying to be a pain, it's just I have one GTO pushrod to cut and weld, want to hit it right the first time if possible.
