Default Fox swap, truck exhaust manifolds

Anyone used truck manifolds off an LQ4 with an AJE k-member and 700R4? I may have to do this for cost reasons, only short term. The ports look nice sized actually, may keep em for the long run.

Any known fitment issues?

I hear rumors of TB SS manifolds working well. I'm waiting for some to test fit. If I get them I will take pictures..

Im wondering the same thing for the 5.3 in a fox. Dont wanna shell out the bucks for swap headers and then ditch them to go turbo.

i did but you have to cut the hell out of them. on the drivers side i had to cut the bottom off the manifolds weld a piece of 3" pipe on them and plate the remaining opening because the original cut produced a good sized oval hole. worked though.

I tried this for a test fit, the driver side exhaust manifold will not clear the steering shaft.

Anyone know if maybe the LS1 car or 6.0L Truck manifolds would work? Ive head the ends of the 5.3L manifolds kick outward and thats what makes it so difficult. Just a thought.

I took the engine back out without trying the '00 Z28 manifolds, I decided to just dump the truck manifolds forward and do turbocharging. It's that or the swap headers, and of the 2 choices, the more powerful is....
