Default vacuum line question....

i have a vacuum line question....or i think it's a vacuum line...it's part of the stock harness...it's very small...one end goes towards the back of the engine...on the intake manifold or something back there...i cant see it with the motor mounted in the car already...but anywho...the other end shows up at the beginning bundle of the harness...close to the ecm...i have it connected to nothing...where does this plug into on the fbody??? it's a 2000 camaro harness...

It connects behind the intake and the other end plugs into a line that goes inside to operate the heat/ac vent doors,,, I think.

Yep, that's what it's for. Just take it out, you don't need it.

Just cough up the $8 for an assorted vacuum plug kit. Youll need several before the build is done

On a car intake (LS1) it's a nipple you can put a cap on, if you're using a truck manifold it's a hole. Just leaving the purge solenoid in it with no power hooked to it will block it off.
