06 GTO swapped into 69 camaro
Is it possible to swap all electrical and motor and tranny into a 69 camaro out of a wrecked GTO with the GTO's electrical equipment?

LOL no offense taken I just got a 69 with no motor or tranny or really anything at all just a shell and im trying to figure out the best route to take for getting this thing road worthy and came across this GTO so I got to investigating and came across this website. And the title does look misleading HUH sorry bout that! I guess a better question would be other than motor mounts and exhaust and oilpan am I looking at spending 5000 thousand dollars in other parts or can I just transplant everything from the GTO such as electrical and the car is an automatic.

I am working on a 69 that I plan on using most of the wiring/electrical from a 4th gen donar. I decided to keep the original dash but I am still planning on using the 4th gen electrical and remove anything not being used. Most of the electrical will work and if you use a 4th gen column and keep the bcm. The column also allows you to use the drivers airbag. Wiring under the hood consists of converting the lights and that is about it. The interior is a bit different since you need to work on the headlight switch, heating and A/C along with the interior lights but other than that the wiring is straight forward. Gauges will be wired separately.

I'm interested in hearing how everything goes. I'm hoping to purchase an 04 LS1/T56 for my 67 camaro this weekend! Just made the final decision after pricing the rebuild of my cracked 327 small block. After reading several threads on this site, I think I'm ready to tackle the build on a budget for sure.

I am finishing up my L92 into a 68 camaro.
It gets pricey. Its all the little fittings that kill you.
All that said, I don't regret a minute or dollar I spent.
Check my link for photos/issues.
