Default BRP HotRods' oilpump girdle

I recently got a BRP Hotrod's oilpump girdle. There was no specs on torque though. Should the suppied bolts be lubed? What is the torgue specs.?

well im not saying i did it exactly right but on mine i just hand tightened them and let it ride.

Default BRP Girdle

I torqued mine to 15# and used a little bit of blue loctite, I just figured it was a M6 bolt and the oil pan perimeter bolts are the same size and I think they were 30 inch pounds I cant remember.

Ft lbs? I figured on loctiting it instead too.

Yes 15 foot pounds, or you can do about 25-30 inch pounds it works out very close to each other

Just Saying, 25-30in lbs and 15lbs are not the same at all! 15ft lbs is = to 180 in lbs!

Thats what I was thinking. LOL. Unless they changed how many inches go into a foot. LOL. BIG difference.

I torqued mine to the specs of the oilpump pickup tube bolt and used blue loctite.
