Default jeep 5.3 witout 02 sensors

hi guys, im running a 5.3 in my jeep wrangler, and im not running any o2 sensors, my jeep is running very rich my fuel consumption is very high.... i want to know should i put some o2 sensors on or can i just tune my jeep to run without o2 sensors...., running without o2 sensors would make my life easier..

You can get away with deleting the rear O2's but I believe you will need the front O2's....... I know that even if you don't run thr rear O2's and do not modify the ecm, it will run rich...... So I could only imagine if you run none at all......

Add the O2's thats why your getting shitty MPG. The PCM doesn't know what fuel trims to use so it defaults to set ones.

But leaded gas ( like they sell in the middle east) kills 02's. You can tune it open-loop-SD if you need to.

Yes overtime.

But, he'll get better MPG with the 02's/MAF closed loop.

I think he just needs to get the correct tune and that will fix the problem. IE a SD tune.

ok.. im going to sd tune and see what happens, we only have unleaded fuel here, we have 95 octane and 98 ocatne only,leaded fuel is no longer legal here, i thought we have one of the best fuels in the world....... i live in dubai... maybe other countries here use leaded fuel.... i guess
