Default first gen stock radiator with ls1 swap?

I was going to purchase a be cool radiator but am trying to cut cost. Is any one using a stock 1st gen radiator with their ls1? I noticed several are using a stock ls1 radiator from a donor as well.

I don't have a first gen camaro, but the Nova is basically the same, and I'm using the original 3 core radiator from the Nova. Works great, over 130k on the swap, and never runs hot.

I am in the process of building my ls motor and had the same question with my stock 86 monte carlo ss radiator. If I hook up a powerful enough fan you guys think this will be sufficient?
