Default how to depin connectors (gauge console specifically)

any tips for how to depin these little things. I'm thinking i can do it with a small screwdriver, but wonder if there is an easier way to do this. I'm trying to depin a harness for my lt1 to move my dash over to an ls1 type dash.

I've been taking pins out of wiring connectors for years without 'special tools'. Depending on the type of connector I'm working with, I've used a tiny eyeglass repair screwdriver or a safety pin that's been straightened out. You can't use the same tool on a Packard, Deutsch, Amp Multilock, Molex, etc connector but you sure can use the tiny screwdriver or safety pin!!

$7 for a set of three extractors. At some point you have to ask what your time is worth.

figured it out. really simple once you see how one comes out. took all of 5 min with one of those eye glass screwdrivers. did it without damaging and figured out how to pin them back so they are tight. now i understand why a paperclip will work too, but this little eyeglass screwdriver was pretty perfect, doesn't give us much as a paperclip.

thanks again guys!

As I said, no fancy 'special tools' required, glad it worked for you.
