water pump heater hose inlet/outlet

I'm getting ready to install my A/C and heat system and according to the directions the flow vavle has a specific direction for flow. So on a corvette water pump, which connection is the heater core supply line, and which one is the return line.

The 5/8" (smaller) connection is the supply (hot side), and the 3/4" is the return side.

Generally in a pressure system (radiator, heater, Power Steering, AC, etc).. the Smaller one is usually the HIGH or PRESSURE side and the larger one is the RETURN...
