Default Intake Manifold gaskets, different between car and truck?

I have a set of truck intake gaskets for my swap. Are they different than the car intake gaskets? It sure seems so...

Thanks!

Could your question be anymore vague? LS1 intakes have o-rings around the intake ports. So there is no traditional gasket.

Sorry, I thought it was pretty clear. I have a 5.3L that I am installing a LS1 intake on. My gasket kit is for a 5.3L, which included these intake gaskets:

The car intake has gaskets in it, but the intake doesn't seem to sit flush against the heads. I guess I'll have to check it out closer and look for any interference with the steam vent tube or knock sensor wiring.

Appreciate the help,

Alex N

(How my engine now sits. Starting to look like an engine again )

The car intake uses the o-rings. You can probably sell those truck gaskets as they were kinda expensive when I had to buy a set.

What do you mean by that? Were the heads milled?

LS1/6 intakes wont clear the truck coolant tubes directly. Either swap Fbody tubes in or bend them out of the way

LS6 intakes need the ribs clearanced off the bottom to clear

FAST intakes require button head valley cover bolts or the hex head will contact and crack the base when the intake is torqued down

Sorry guys, just me being dumb! It was sitting almost flush, just had to press it down slightly to compress the foam under the intake.

Nope, the heads weren't milled and the coolant tube is from an F-body (I believe).

I really appreciate all your help, 1st time with these engines is providing some dumb difficulties! Now onto search about the truck coils and ls1 fuel rail...
