Default what fuel pumps are the carbed swaps running?

I've never owned a carbed vehicle and now I am nearing my carbed 5.3 swap completion and I am looking to finish my fuel system. My dad had hot rods and race cars back about 10-12 years ago and he said he always ran holley blue pumps or mallory electric pumps. I am guessing these are still good pumps to use? I don't know what brands to stay away from and which ones are good. I figure I will spend at least $125 on a good quality pump. The carb I am running is a 650 speed demon and I will be keeping my factory tank in my 84 cutlass.

I'm running a Carter pump. I had a Holley Blue pump and hated it. It was to noisy for me and my hearing is awful.

I ran a Mallory Comp140 pump with my SBC and BBC setups. I will be running it with my LQ4 as well.

Yea I have heard the holley blues are real noisy but this car will have long tubes with an xpipe and dual bullet exhaust so I dont think the noisy pump will be noticable.

I had a Mallory comp 140 pump until it sucked up some debris and ate itself.

I now run an $85 Summit pump. Works just fine. If you look at fuel pump pics closely the summit pump looks identical to the trick flow and some of the Holley pumps. They must all get them off the same boat from China.

Yea I have noticed the similarities when looking at the summit catalog.

I'm running the Carter P4600HP with my 5.3 setup. I like it as it doesn't need a regulator...it flows 100GPH.
