97 3.8 Camaro - Any LsX platform... Never thought I would enter this section of the forum but I am here.
GF just bought a 1997 V6 A4 stripper Camaro. Nice little car but doesn't quite have the get up and go her 00 TA did with full bolt ons ls6 cam and converter.
I'm looking for the cheapest route possible to swap in an LsX platform motor. I would be fine with a 5.3 as long as later on I could easily swap that out (same as pulling an ls1 and putting another ls1 in its place) and replace it with an ls1 or 6.0. Therefore oil pan/alt./power steering/etc etc etc and what not would have to fit those as well. It will be staying A4.
Anybody have any clue where a list of parts needed for a swap such as this? I want it like it came from the factory this way. Everything should work, Ac/radio/speedo/etc etc etc...
Any links appreciated, a list with all parts would be amazing! Going to slowly start gathering pieces.
