Default Trouble finding c4 swap parts. and a few last questions

I got the money to do my swap. And i have tried searching this site and others with no luck on this info. I have the LQ9 and the performer intake ready to go on when the motor is in the car. I will use a regulator with a good return for my fuel to my carb.

What spacer do i need to make the 700r4 and stock 700r4 converter to bolt the the LQ9?

will the stock LQ9 cam run ok with a carburated setup?

I cant find anything other than the $750 melrose headers, are there no other options?

Where can i get a decent F body oil pan with pickup tube and windage tray?

Accessories im getting from kwik performance.

Also shopping around for the MSD 6010.

yeah kinda. The transmission i got is a built 700r4, and im throwing in a cam from comp cams once they get back to deciding what will be best for my setup. The motor mounts i have in my garage. Got my edelbrock intake manifold ready to go. And all the other stuff is either on the way or being sourced. Im going to use the F body oil pan.

Im down to getting headers and deciding what to do with my fuel situation. Going to see if i can regulate the stock LT1 pump down to carb pressure range and run a decent return.

Also still unsure on what spacer is needed for a 2003 LQ9 to bolt to a 700r4.

Do you drag race? If you hook once with your D36 rear your gonna need some upgrading

Car will see some strip time. The car was an lt1. And the carb conversion is cheaper and I have seen some good numbers from carbed LSx motors.

I plan on using the older 3 bolt mounts with the adaptor plates.

will clear the hood?

I would start saving for a straight axle or at the veryleast a D44 upgrade with strip use.

D36 dont like 60 fts below 1.9

If you dont care about looks as much go with the cut or graph your own cowl.

A cowl hood 4inch = $1300 WITHOUT paint

holy hell. I know a friend who does good body work, so maybe him and i can work something out and make something look good.

I hope to have this thing on the road soon. the only thing im scared about is the wiring to get the fuel pump to kick on and things like the lights and power windows/locks. I think if i find all the grounds and things that need to be connnected in the LT1 harness, and just hook em up i will be ok. I will cut out anything i dont end up using from the harness, so should just be electrical and guages wiring left.

Sounds wonderful. Good luck with your swap. I've been planning the LS2 + T56 swap into my '86 C4 for awhile now. I almost have everything I need, I just need a few small items at this point. I too need an F Body oil pan, but I planned on waiting to pick it up until I start test fitting the engine. I'm going to go with AC. Are you going to skip AC or what are you plans there?

probably use the bracket from kwik performance to use the ac thats on the lq9 right now. May not do it right away, but i plan to have it in there eventually. They make the bracket, and all you need to do is run the lines to it. Texas is too damn hot to not have it on those 105 days. Its ok if your moving, but once you hit traffic or a red light your sweaty as hell lol.

Im still trying to figure out what spacer i need for the transmission
