Would look into a 750cfm carb, mech secondaries...

Quick fuel is who I would go with.

Yeah, 750 minimum. You might even be able to go one size up from there to an 830. That is a fairly good sized cam and relatively light vehicle with low gears.

Quick fuel definitely makes some nice carbs. You want something with adjustable air bleeds and their SS model has that. Or just ebay a used double pumper and tap the bleeds yourself.

I say

750 DP mec secs
770 Street Adv vac secs

Or for that kind of power 850 DP but you might have to jet it down some and tune it.... maybe change the front pwr valve out and delete the rear pwr valve and put jet extentions in.....If its just for race or streert/strip

If a cruiser, you would enjoy the 770 or 870 street adv vacum secs a whole lot better.....
The dp's haul azz but suck gas.....

Are the Holley Street Avengers good carbs?Ive never have known anybody that had one.I had a few holley carbs but switch over to edelbrocks a few years back. They are much more consistant in how they run than a holley IMO.Thought about the edelbrock 800 AVS but havent heard much about them either....this is a street/strip car, more street that track.thinking about going back with a holley cause i havent ran one in awhile and want to see if they are better than the last few i owned.
