Just the compression fitting on the standard steel fuel line.

The compression fittings I got are aluminum, but seriously... 60 PSI isn't much.

The brass compression ring is the only thing that's really making the connection to the steel line. The aluminum fitting is really just on the outside squashing the compression rings onto the steel line. Either way, still different metals, I'll keep a close eye on it.

I don't think those are your standard compression fittings. I think they are similar to the Swagelok brand tube fittings, which are like compression fittings on steroids.... maybe even crack! It's a different type of compression fitting that swages the tube, and is pretty much all-around better than a standard compression fitting. I used one under my hood on my fuel rail and it's holding up fine.
