Default DBW question

I have a 99 Vette LS1 I am putting in my 68 Camaro. The engine has the stock Drive-By-Wire throttle body but didn't come with the pedal or TAC. I would like to keep it DBW for the cleaner looking install. I have read what I can find on this site related to DBW but still not 100% clear on what pedal and tac I should be buying for the stock throttle body. The vette ones are very expensive (because its vette). Can I get a truck pedal and tac to work and what computer would I need as well to go with it all? I am waiting to get all the correct parts before ordering the wiring harness and purchasing a programmed computer.

You really need the Vette pedal/TAC module. go to this site for more info on DBW systems: Drive by Wire

It still might be cheaper buying the correct ( but pricier Vette pcs) components from the getgo. Might be worth calling John @ www.speartech.com for some input.

good luck.
